   Arthur's pass camp

It was school camp I couldn't wait I jumped out of bed got      dressed, ate breakfast and packed my bag. At school everybody was waiting round to get on the bus. On the bus I was next to the window when out of nowhere it    started snowing and made the trip 10x better. At the lodge we went to the dining room and ate lunch. 15 minutes later we met Logan. Then we got shown our bunk rooms my bunk room had me, Lochie, Kade, Jack L, Derek and PG.

Logan told us what to wear and not. Like the three things that keep you warm are wool, polypro and fleece then Logan told us that cotton pushes the heat off you to try to dry itself while wool traps it between your skin and the wool to dry itself after that. We went orienteering we came last but it was fun next we had lunch and got ready to walk Devil's Punchbowl.

After lunch we started walking down the road to Devils Punchbowl. When we got there we started the walk it was a lot of stairs, when we got to the top there was a massive waterfall. Walking back down me and Matty started running we were the first ones back then we played running screamer. It is when you have to run up a hill screaming Boyd won by a lot.

Back at the lodge we played spotlight while the dinner group was cooking tea the first round I was one of the first ones found after a couple more rounds I needed to put the cutlery out. After tea we played two ball football but most people were just sliding round. After the games we went to see this waterfall the was very clear and you could see the stones at the bottom, the water looked very cold.

When we got back to the lodge we played spotlight in my bunk room I hid in my sleeping bag I came first then we went out and had a milo it was really hot and not much flavour.

The next day it was snowing and we did a snowman competition but I was just chucking snowballs at the other teams. The snowman that came first looked kind of like a penguin, we came second. After that we went for a walk I was in the first group halfway up Logan told us about himself he was Bear Grylls safety person and that Bear Grylls would tell you not to eat snow because it burns your lips and after a while would kill you, when we got back at the lodge when they went on the walk I built this massive snowball with Jack L and Mia  then we broke it and the leftover bits of snow we chucked at the big snowman.

In the afternoon we went shelter building in the bush me and Jack were in a group and we did an a-frame and no one got wet

When we got back to the lodge my kitchen group started to cook dinner we were doing spag bowl firstly I done the dishes and the did the salad with Declyn it tasted very nice.

The next day it was time to leave and on the bus I was in the middle with Declyn, Lochie Matty and Mark we were all telling jokes when we got back to school the place where all the luggage is kept the flung open and I lost my sleeping bag. But Mr Mcaulay found it a couple days later.
